Project Background
To ensure the safety of railway slopes, our company has deployed a high-precision slope disaster prevention monitoring and early warning system in a certain engineering section.
The slope is 120 meters in total length and has a slope of 45 degrees. It adopts a structure of cement reinforcement and retaining wall protection. The environment is complex, and extremely high requirements are placed on the stability and accuracy of the monitoring system.
Technical solution
All-round monitoring network: Four sensing optical cables are laid along the slope to form four independent defense zones 120 meters long, covering key risk points:
- ✅ Inclined slope - Monitoring slope deformation
- ✅ Protective net -- catches falling rocks
- ✅ Retaining wall surface - test structural stability
- ✅ Next to the railway drainage ditch - Warning of debris flow blockage
Intelligent linkage alarm: After the alarm is triggered, the system will push the location, time and on-site captured pictures to the responsible person's mobile phone in real time.
Measured performance
Extreme weather test: Under conditions of strong wind and heavy rain, the system has achieved the following for both rockfall and debris flow simulation events:
- 100% accurate alarm, zero false alarm
- Complete SMS warning (including location and image) within 5 seconds
Customer value
It provides 24-hour unattended active protection for railway slope disasters, significantly reducing the risks of manual inspection.
